Cradle Hill (Come Touch The Sky) (2025 Remaster)
C. E. IV
It all began in 1964 as strange sounds were heard around the town of Warminster in Wiltshire, England, followed by a spate of UFO sightings.
Journalist Arthur Shuttlewood initiated an investigation, which captured the attention of the media and thousands of people around the world, who came to the town hoping to glimpse a sighting of "the thing" - the term locals used for the strange sounds and sightings. At night, many headed up the nearby hills, the most popular being 'Cradle Hill'.
The song was written for an event titled 'Weird 09', held in Warminster in 2009 celebrating the history of the Warminster mystery that has endured to this day.
Cradle Hill (Come Touch The Sky) will take you on a nostalgic trip that will evoke fond memories of skywatches, excited discussions, and new friendships made during the golden era of UFO sightings throughout the 1960s and 70s.
Additional tracks include a Weird 09 remix of 'Warminster Night' and a brand new instrumental track 'Skywatching'.
MP3 are the default format with high quality FLAC tracks included in the bonus files, along with single artwork, lyrics and notes.
Remastered:
